Vice-Presidents report

Dan has the info on the chamber tournament, and the flyers will be sent out this week. There are 294 names on the mailing list. Thanks to all who helped fold and seal the flyers getting them ready to go.

Presidents Report

Ken and his committee came up with some ideas on how to increase membership growth, participation and raise funds for the club

Membership growth:
1. We included a membership drive flyer (inviting anyone to our April meeting ) in side the chamber tournament flyer.
Additional Ideas:
1. Bring in a boating member into the club who joins and get $10.00 off your next membership fee for each new member.
2. Start a contest where, whoever signs up the most members, wins a prize.

Membership participation:
1. Full membership-vs- Fishing only membership, ( $25.00-vs-$50.00)

• Full membership needs to participate in 2 club events/ committees and 4 meetings a year
• Fishing only is a buy out , only need to attend one meeting.

Fund raising ideas;
Hold a raffle with a low number of ticket sales, with a high value prize. ie. Dewalt cordless hand tool set. $500.00 value, Sell 200 tickets at $10.00 a ticket.

Old Business

Bill made a motion to vote on weather to change our tournaments to Sat. or keep the 2008 schedule as is and stay with Sun. tournaments, 2 nd by Jack. Voting results: 7 to keep the 2008 schedule the way it is and stay with Sun. tournaments. 2 to change to Sat. tournaments.

Remember the banquet is March 15 th at the SMS Lodge in Seneca Falls. The invitations will go out by e-mail or regular mail for those who don't have e-mail.
