Treasurers Report
Bill gave the treasurers report. Beginning balance was $615.24 ending balance 849.24.
Motion to accept, motion 2ND motion passed.

Secretary's Report
Bill read the Dec. 2007 minutes. Motion to accept, motion 2ND, motion passed.

Vice-Presidents Report
Tournament schedule was passed out and its on our web page.
We went 2 weeks between our classic and our last points tournament and the same before our open to give people time to rest before the classic and time to pre-fish for the open.

Presidents Report
Ken mentioned that the club participation level is down. He is setting up a committee to address this and come up with ideas. If any one would like to participate he will be at Barry's bait shop the 2ND Sunday of the this month or you can contact him.

Old business
Sat. tournaments was talked about and I sent an e-mail to everyone. So please respond with your choice.

The Seneca chamber of commerce asked us if we would like to take over running the tournament they have on opening weekend if we do not they will discontinued having the tournament. they made an average $2,000 to $3,000 on this tournament.
Pat Ryan made a motion for us to take over the tournament, 2ND by Bob Goodman and voted yes by the members present. Dan will get the rest of the details and information from the Chamber.

The Banquet will be March 15Th at the SMS lodge.
The menu will be the same as last year. We will need donations for the Chinese auction.
Pat Ryan and Bob Goodman will be running the banquet.

New business
Bob Goodman lined up a new sponsor, Seager marine who would like an add on our weigh-in trailer. Seager is now a champion dealer, Bob and Pat Ryan will be talking to them.

If anyone has a reel that needs repair you can contact Doug Mattison at (315)-536-7373 He,s very good and reasonable.

Pro's Pointer
Dan Poormon winter fishing Canandigua lake: Silver buddys. Position your boat in 20ft of water, cast at a 45degree angle, let bait reach bottom, take up slack and lift bait off bottom. repeat this all the way to the boat. Most times, the fish hit the bait on the fall. Best time is Dec.
