Old Business

The tickets are ready for the two custom rods that Jack made up, the winners choice. 1000 tickets were done. The rods normally sell for $165.00. Dan has the tickets, so contact him to get some.

The club made up weight slips and boat numbers for the chamber tournament.

The logo’s are changed and updated on the weight trailer.

Casting kids had to be re-scheduled to a later date.

New business

Boater’s ins. Certificates are no longer required to be sent in, but please keep it up to date.

The tournament sign up, will be the same as last year. The Fri. before the tournament. If you can’t make it you can call someone that is going (Dan Poormon, Bill Barry) and have them sign you up.

The Calcutta is $5.00 plus the optional lunker is $5.00. You don’t have to put in to these side bets.

The tournament time is safe light to 2:00pm. Be at the launch at least a half hour before 5:00am to meet your partner and get on the water.

If any of the new guys have questions about this call one of the club officers or the member that got you to join.

Bill and Jan Barry still have some tackle let over from the bait shop that is another 20% off. You can contact them for more info.

Pros pointer

Bill Barry on fishing a sinko. A lot of people don’t like using a small hook, but a circle hook with a rubber band rigged wacky still works very well. When you set the hook you don’t have to rip their lips off, just sweep the rod back and reel.

50/50

Bill Terry

See you on the water!
